LEKH Indian Literature festival

Swapnabesh Uk Dreamcatchers and BAMNE Liverpool proudy present the first Indian Literature Festival in the Uk. In the beautiful setting of Ullet Road Church. 

If you live in the UK and you are budding writer on Indian themes,
please let us know if you wish to participate in any of the following
on the day ;
Meet the Author – 15-minute slot (you can promote and sell your
published book - £10 per table. Meet the Author will be held on the
stage.
Symposium/panel the discussion on different topics related to India. –
Society and literature – last 200 years. Notable Indian writers of
this period. Contemporary writers, and how literature has evolved.
Special focus on women’s literature in India. Regional languages
and its contribution to Indian literature. Discussion on Urdu
literature and/or lyrics. Conversation on the indigenous panel: the languages of
the country.
Children’s literature books – this section is for children to
participate and speak about their favourite Indian book and author.
They should be encouraged to read a passage from an Indian book.
Literature and music - Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, and other
lyricists. – Please suggest to the organisers below your regional
language lyricists for discussion at the symposium.

We are also inviting author/publisher posters for display £5 per
poster. No smaller than A4 size. It is the responsibility of
author/publisher to print posters and bring it to the venue.

FOOD STALLS AT THE VENUE.
