Wedding Awards Ceremony

We recently had the honour of attending a prestigious Wedding Awards Ceremony, an event marked by glamour, camaraderie, and a profound spirit of generosity. Not only was it a celebration of wedding service providers, but it also served a noble cause, raising £7000 to support a charity dedicated to creating memorable Disney World experiences for children facing health challenges.

Ullet Road Church was recognized as a finalist at this esteemed event, a fact we are deeply humbled by. In a room filled with illustrious organizations from Cheshire, Manchester, Cumbria, Lancashire, and Merseyside, our church stood unique. We were the only church in attendance, representing our vibrant community and the exceptional work we do in hosting weddings.

Although we didn't claim the top prize, the recognition we received, and the experience of being a part of this ceremony was a victory in its own right. It's an affirmation of the dedication, passion, and love our wedding team puts into every ceremony we conduct.

At this juncture, we would like to extend our gratitude to our incredible team - Izzie, Viki, Kay, Sarah, Craig, Hilary, Sue, Christian, Hayley, Nikki and Rod. Their commitment and hard work are the heart of our congregation, and we couldn't be more honoured.

This event has invigorated us with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment. We continue to stand proud in supporting same-sex weddings and celebrating love in all its beautiful forms.
