Ullet Road Church was filled with friends, colleagues and family for the funeral of Jamie Reid. The Service was led by the Rev. Phil Waldron... below is an extract from the opening of the service...

"Jamie Reid was a man deeply rooted in the essence of life and its simplicities. From the gentle memories of adventures with his daughter to the teachings he passed on from his grandparents, his spirit resonated with justice, art, and the beauty of the natural world. Reid was a man who found wonder in the stars above Scotland and joy in the flutter of a robin's wings in his shed. He imparted a radical sense of awe, a reverence for his ancestral homeland, and a playful rebelliousness evident in his art exhibitions. Above all, he cherished moments, whether they were shared taxi rides discussing Fulham football and politics, or precious moments with his beloved granddaughter, Rose. His legacy is one of love, courage, and a profound appreciation for the Earth's enchantments, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him."

Many Blessings to the family
