Thank You Izzie Major

Izzie has been a cherished part of Ullet Road Church for some time—and importantly, still is! She has contributed greatly as a member of our Wedding Team and as one of the original facilitators of our Sunday School, the Rainbow Rebels. I prefer not to use the term 'teacher' for our Sunday School, as it feels less fitting for the creative and nurturing role she has embodied.

As her theatre work continues to flourish, requiring more of her time, Izzie will be stepping away from her role with the Rainbow Rebels. She has been instrumental in the growth of our Sunday School, and we deeply thank her for her hard work, creativity, and dedication.

During Sunday services, I deliver stories from the Enchanted Forest, featuring beloved characters brought to life by our facilitators—Craig, Lucy, Sarah, and Izzie. Izzie has hilariously and endearingly portrayed Grumble the Gruff, improvising her way through my stories with her signature flair, often transforming them into something even better than scripted.

In the final story featuring her character, Grumble the Gruff embarks on a heartfelt journey, leaving the Enchanted Forest to venture to Spire Mountain, where she tends to injured goblins with her magical healing honey cakes. It’s a fitting send-off for someone who has brought so much warmth, creativity, and care to our community.

Thank you, Izzie, for everything you’ve given to Ullet Road Church. We will miss your contributions to the Rainbow Rebels, but we are thrilled to see you thriving in your theatre work!
