River of Words: a New Creative Writing Group

Published author, Emma Morgan, will be leading this new creative writing group for members of the community.

The group will take place on Thursdays at 7pm, last 2 hours and is £5 a session. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided by the church for a donation.

All levels of experience are welcome to join this gentle, collaborative and welcoming space.

"My main belief about writing is that it is a means not just of connection but of liberation too. It is a way out of the perfectionism pushed upon us by society, a way that shows you that you are capable of anything. I like the Nick Cave quote, "Art doesn't like being told what to do." My aim is not to try and teach anyone how to write but to encourage people to believe that they can write whatever they want to, however they want to."
