ASIST Suicide Intervention Training

ASIST Suicide Intervention Training at Ullet Road Church, Liverpool. L17 2AA

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day, in-person workshop that equips people with practical, evidence-based suicide first-aid skills. Participants learn to recognise when someone may be at risk, engage in open and direct conversation, and create a personalised safety plan to reduce immediate danger.

Endorsed by the World Health Organisation, ASIST is delivered worldwide by certified LivingWorks trainers. Independent evaluations show that people supported by ASIST-trained helpers are significantly less likely to remain suicidal after intervention.

Who is it for?

Mental health practitioners, teachers, youth workers, first responders, community leaders, and anyone committed to suicide prevention.
